Company History

After a few months of full time development the next release of the software was available, CT99 and again this was welcomed warmly by not only existing users but an increasing number of new customers. It became clear that the ideas and concepts behind the software were popular and if things were going to grow he was going to need help.

Shaun decided to take a much needed holiday which meant that he needed someone to look after his cat, so he asked his friend from the housing co-op Tim Draper if he would cat sit whilst he was on holiday and then it occurred him that Tim was an accountant, so asked if whilst he was cat sitting, could he have a look at the accounts to see if he could afford some help. After the holiday Tim informed him that he couldn’t afford any help, but not to worry he would do it!

Tim then joined Shaun’s Software, as it was formerly known, and was asked by Shaun to build a business plan to create a company and carry it forward. The company, Shaunsoft Limited, was formed in March 2003 and Tim took over the financial and support side of operations. This allowed Shaun to concentrate on developing CT2000 to its maximum capability. Once again, with help and suggestions from the ever increasing user base, CT2000 proved a success and is still very much in popular demand today. CT2000 has been one of the leading Community Transport Management software package for over five years now, with currently over one hundred and fifty users around the UK.
