Company History

Along with its work with Community Transport schemes, Shaunsoft were offered the chance to look for solutions within the car club market, and CT2000, combined with a web service was adapted to fit the needs well.

By this point, Shaunsoft had outgrown Shaun’s Cellar and moved to a designated office space in Preston. Growth continued rapidly and an opportunity to work with Lancashire County Council was accepted. This fitted nicely with the plan to make the software available to projects from small voluntary car schemes up to large Local Authorities, and kicked off the next stage of development, CTX.

Due to the working relationship formed with RAKAT and the flexibility of the CTX framework, when Kingston Voluntary Action was looking for software to manage their furniture recycling project, they turned to Shaunsoft. ctxStore was created as the first software tool on the market to allow furniture projects to manage every aspect of their organisation.
