Due to the flexible Shaunsoft licensing arrangement there is no restriction on the number of staff or workstations able to access all or part of the software suite. This enables various departments to use specific parts of the software. A typical example of this would be the case where the department responsible for CRB\Disclosure administration can use the CTX Driver, Passenger Assistant and Operator database to manage the CRB\Disclosure process.
CTX has been designed from the ground up with the aim of integrating with other authority systems including land and property gazetteers and GIS systems. These ‘links’ if required are designed specifically for the authority though many existing ‘links’ are automatically enabled.
The software manages the whole ‘transport workflow’ whether the transport is provided in house or by external operators and of course a mixture of the two approaches. The methodology for each approach is basically the same easy to understand process no matter how complex the administrative procedures required.
